From what I have learned, not everyone will benefit by the same diet. There are those who may require completely different diets for optimal health.
For many years a lot of people have been interested in diet and its relationship to cancer.
Here is a long article to read–I believe it to be a must read and one that you should be made aware of if you want to prevent and/or get rid of the disease (After all, what prevents cancer can also cure cancer:
Read it online: Dismantling the Ketogenic Diet
Download the PDF: Dismantling the Ketogenic Diet
At this point, I’ll repeat something that has been related elsewhere on this site:
The Evidence Against the Ketogenic Diet for Cancer: Read the studies which is referenced in the article. Also, keep in mind that [Quote] “Ketosis is a natural state for the body to be in from time to time. When it occurs, the body burns its fat reserves as energy. Maintaining a state of ketosis for short periods involves minimal risk. However, people with type 1 diabetes should avoid ketosis due to an increased risk of complications People should also avoid being in ketosis long-term, as they may experience fatigue and nutritional deficiencies….” [Unquote] (Source])
There are tons–if you had it in book form–of information about alternatives to chemo, radiation and surgery. Here are three of my favorite resources:
The Truth About Cancer Chris Beat Cancer The Gonzalez Protocol
After fully researching these three resources, I’ve concluded that I would follow Dr. Gonzalez’s protocol if I were to be diagnosed with any type of cancer.
I encourage the skeptical to watch this one-hour YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlcXqJLlnho. It is Ty Bollinger (The Truth About Cancer) interviewing Nicholas Gonzalez.
.
I recently learned of another protocol I would follow if I happened to get diagnosed with a late stage cancer. Here it is: http://sickandfat.com/?p=356
